May 2010- Recipe of the Month- Mother's Day Theme
Since it is May, and not only is it Mother's Day but also a month when strawberries are in season. What mother wouldn't want a few chocolate covered strawberries to enjoy on her day. Easy to make, and delicious to eat!
Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients Needed:
Large Strawberries with stems (washed and dried)
Chocolate chips
Sprinkles
Items Needed:
Microwave oven
Microwaveable bowl
Spatula
Plastic Knife
Plate
Waxed Paper
Small Spoon
Directions:
Wash and dry hands.
Put chocolate chips in the bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds.
Stir with spatula and repeat 30 seconds in the microwave.
Stir again, and repeat until chocolate is all melted.
Using the plastic knife, spread chocolate on a strawberry.
Sprinkle on the sprinkles if desired(use a small spoon).
Place on a plate covered with waxed paper.
Repeat with more strawberries until all the chocolate is used up.
Place plate in refrigerator to harden the chocolate. Keep chilled until serving.
